SDG 4.webp

Ultimate Goal & Vision

The Green Schools Network (GSN) aims to create self-sustaining, environmentally conscious schools where students have access to clean water, nutritious food, and quality sanitation. By integrating WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and sustainable agriculture practices, we ensure a healthier and more resilient future for Malawi’s students.

Why It Matters

In many schools across Malawi, lack of clean water, poor sanitation, and food insecurity impact children’s health and education. By providing access to rainwater harvesting systems, improved latrines, and school gardens, GSN is transforming the learning environment and equipping students with essential life skills.

Key Objectives

01

Improve Access to Clean Water and Sanitation

02

Promote Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition

03

Reduce School Absenteeism
