You can get involved in promoting global food security and sustainable agriculture with CPAR!

Visit puttingfarmersfirst.ca and learn about CPAR’s innovative work with African farming communities, and also discover the connection between the global and the local by finding out what’s happening in our own backyards related to global sustainable food movements.

Putting Farmers First is CPAR’s approach to supporting long-term food security for farming families in vulnerable African communities.  It emphasizes the belief that small-scale farming is an effective means of sustaining livelihoods for rural African communities in the face of global challenges such as climate change and fluctuating food prices.

Be sure to check out www.puttingfarmersfirst.ca  and view CPAR’s interactive Foodprints exhibit, as well as our @farmersfirst Twitter feed.
